		<description><![CDATA[The Illusion of Safety Human beings are extraordinarily reactionary when it comes to risk-assessment. We downplay risks when we have an illusion of control, and conversely, we overstate remote risks that we know are out of our control.  For example, most car accidents occur within 25 miles of our homes.
